Our story
Is blood reaching the tissue that needs it?
A vascular surgeon asks one question every day: is blood reaching the tissue that needs it? A strong heart is not enough. If the flow is blocked, the tissue dies.
Dr. Owano Pennycooke saw the same pattern in health systems. Cardiovascular, chronic disease and other specialty care exist, but distance, cost and missed handoffs keep it from reaching patients. Access Med Global was founded to clear those blockages by building care that stays in the community.

Owano Pennycooke, MD
Founder
Board-certified vascular surgeon with more than 17 years of experience, practicing in the New York metro area and Georgia. An early adopter of office-based vascular care, bringing advanced procedures out of the hospital and into community settings. Trained in New Jersey, with long-standing clinical and service work in Ghana and Jamaica. Founder of HeartLink Global.
